I wont miss his free-kicks but I will miss just about everything else he does.

Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
Positives and all that.

Source and exaggerated prediction aside, there is kernel of truth in there. We have struggled when teams do not play the way we wanted them to sometimes, so maybe we are too reliant on one way of playing, that is connected to Payet. If we can really develop some different ways of playing because of this, it will benefit us in the long run.

That's not good news... I'm sure we'll be ok in the meantime though. Hopefully Song will play the holding role and spray a few passes around. Lanzini will shine in though.

how could an injury to one of our best players be anything other than a hindrance? he's got 5 goals, 3 assists and has created more chances than anyone else in the league this season. im happy to look for silver linings in anything but im not sure how having our most creative player out injured will actually benefit us mate.

Don't get me started on Harewood, one of the worst players I have seen in a West Ham shirt, and there have been many.

Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
I wonder what Kidders' opinion of Marlon Harewood's missed sitter against Liverpool in the Cup Final is?

Will take into consideration that the bloke could hardly stand after being crocked by Liverpool?

alphaharps 5:16 Mon Nov 9
Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
as bad as this injury will be, strangely it could benefit us.
Song can fit in now, and Obiang will get more game time, and Lanzini will be the creative spark

HairyHammer 5:14 Mon Nov 9
Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
it will not do us any damage at all Payet is ok but he is no Carlton Cole.

In all seriousness though they say stuff about us we say stuff about them its all silly talk not to be taken to heart , although Payet is our golden nugget at the moment God forbid he is injured for a substantial ammount of time We do have players to cope with the situation.

Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
All players make mistakes. Find me one that doesn't and he'll be the most expensive player in the world. Fact is though that Payet is an absolutely superb acquisition for us.

BTW Di Canio made mistakes too.

Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
Listen, the geezer is quality there's no doubt, my point is I'm fed up with this compare with DiCanio shit when he makes silly mistakes as well.

Will you miss his 5 goals and 3 assists?

Infidel 5:07 Mon Nov 9
Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
Kidders

Harsh.

Payet was crocked after that challenge from McCarthy and playing on through the pain.

I'm guessing that contributed quite a lot to him giving the ball away, and especially the fact that he made no attempt to chase and win the ball back.

Kidders 5:01 Mon Nov 9
Re: 'Payet injury could bury West Ham'
I certainly won't miss his wayward passes (Sunderland) and losing possession (Everton) costing us goals.
